We believe that most consumers and businesses are paying top dollar for carpet, underlay & installation, yet the lifespan of the carpet looking its best rarely makes the manufacturers warranty period.

Most people associate carpet Installation as someone going around hitting their knee into a knee kicker !!

 

 

Well, it is if:

you don't need the carpets warranty to be valid

it doesn't matter the pattern is not square

your happy with the the ripples & buckling effect

your happy with not being able to maintain it 

your fine with continually paying for steam cleaning that wont work

you don't mind having a unhealthy indoor living environment

you have no problem with the replacement cost every few years

and these are just some the repercussions from using only a knee kicker.

 

 There are other contributing factors that not done properly or even at all make your expensive decision on carpet turn into a never ending money pit.

The product is made to last and there is a reason carpet needs to be installed in accordance with manufacturers and Australian Standards.

There are noticeable differences in a professionally installed job by a fully qualified installer than a carpet layed by someone who is not.

These differences are from start to finish for a brand new home, and would be evident immediately just by looking at each if 2 areas were side by side.

The main difference would be evident a few years of foot traffic later not straight away.

When you incorporate kids or pets or both, a vacuum without a spinning brush and a  poor installation it doesn't give your carpet any chance from the start to realistically serve its purpose or even make the warranty period, which ofcourse would not be valid as the carpet was not installed to standard. (not like you were to know) 

The builder will usually blame the supplier of the carpet

The supplier will say it's builders carpet and not meant to last, then blame the layer

Nearly all carpet layers are sub contractors and in busy times shops need jobs done and get anyone to do them and when it slows down the layers find work elsewhere, so its like good luck all round trying to find someone to be accountable and rectify your situation.
